Pear puree is a great choice for baby’s first food. It is a great source of Vitamin A and fiber– that helps reduce constipation in babies and keeps their immune systems strong.
You can safely introduce pear to your baby when he/she reached 5 months.
Follow our step by step instruction to make the first pear puree for your baby.
Prep time: 5 minutes.
Cooking time: 5 minutes.
- 1 organic pear.
1.First, prepare the pear and cut it in half with a sharp knife.
2.Then remove core and seeds from it.
3.Now peel the pear and chop into small uniform pieces.
4.Transfer pear pieces into a saucepan, add some water to it and cover with a lid.
5.Cook for 12-15 minutes or until fork tender on low heat.
6.When cooking is done, Turn off the heat and allow it to cool.
7.When it’s cooldown, transfer them to a blender with boil water.
8.Blend until smooth. (Puree should be runny, if needed add more boil water).
9.Now your pear puree is ready. Pour into a serving bowl and serve to your baby.
