It’s tough to find the best pumping bra for Spectra!!
The reason is quite simple and logical. The shield or flange on the Spectra pump is comparatively larger and has a one-piece design. Majority of the bra brands are compatible with other brands like Medela or Ameda but fail to accommodate Spectra.
Being a Spectra user, I had a hard time searching for bras and I had to try several brands before sticking with 2-3 models I can trust.
The experimentation paid off big time. Now I can recommend at least 7 pumping bras that could fit any Spectra pump.
If you don’t have the time to read all the reviews, just get the Simple Wishes pumping bra. It has a tighter opening that will hold your spectra pump along with the bottles securely. You do need to wear a nursing bra with this but you won’t have to remove it as you wear or take off the bra.
Have a look at them all.

1.Simple Wishes Signature Pumping Bra
Simple Wishes was the first-ever bra I used with my spectra pump. It’s got a comfortable fit and the material is durable enough to last for a while. You can use it with other pumps as well like Medela, Evenflo and other well-known brands.
Why do I think it’s the best pumping bra for spectra? When you use it first, the flanges might be a bit hard to get in. But that’s the secret. Together with four overlapping layers of fabric, this bra creates a super tight seal and can hold your bottles with complete hands-free experience.
I found the combination of 83% cotton and 17% spandex material to be quite effective. Even the seams are designed in a way, so that you don’t get any skin irritation.
This bra is effortless to put on and you can wear it even without removing your nursing bra. For many moms, that’s a deal-breaker. I was happier with the adjustable velcro back panel. It helps to gain the perfect fit even if your body changes during nursing.
I guess there always has to be a small issue that consumers must deal with. In this case, the velcro strip is the weak link. The fibers can fray over the time as you stick and unstick it.
2.Bravado Designs Nursing Bra
Bravado Designs is a pretty unique bra and most nursing moms would love to have it. It holds the bottle in an upright position and the best part is you don’t have to remove the shield from the bottle as you pump.
If you intend to use it at home, you can easily pump and breastfeed together. I would recommend getting a Bravado Nursing Bra as it’s perfectly compatible with this pumping bra. There’s no need to take off the nursing bra to insert the flanges.
Bravado is compatible with spectra as the design of the opening accommodates one piece shields with no fuss. It’s a bit tight when you wear it with a bra. But that might be the reason the flanges are held snugly.
The bra feels mostly soft and it is quite breathable because of the cotton and modal blend. Once you start using it, you will fall in love with it.
For moms who want to pump discreetly, it’s a great option. However, some moms don’t feel comfortable wearing a nursing bra and a pumping bra together. That’s a decision left to you.
3.Racerback Pump&Nurse Bra
The Racerback might not win any award for sexiness but it sure is super comfortable and remains discreet when you wear it under a dress. It’s a no-hole design bra that effectively holds spectra as well as other pumps!
With the crossover design you can pump and nurse simultaneously. It will work with any nursing bra and that means you won’t have to spend extra once you get this on your hands.
Different women have nipples located at different places and angles. This bra can easily fit with your flange attached to unique nipple locations. The three layers of fabric allows a strong and secured fit that even holds the bottles when they are full.
After a few tries, I think I can say it’s suitable to wear all day long. The 93% cotton and 7% spandex blend is what makes it comfortable. Even so, women with bigger breasts will find it a bit unsupportive and won’t offer full breast coverage.
All in all, I was quite happy with the way this bra worked with my spectra pump. A little more support would have made it more appealing. Nonetheless, it’s still effective.
4.Pump Strap Hands-Free Pumping Bra
If you have a larger bust size and want the perfect fit every time your body changes during nursing, the Pump Strap bra is just what you need. It’s one of the best pumping bras for your spectra and it’s worth every penny.
The openings are large enough to hold the spectra flanges and still keeps the bottles in place snugly. If you have tried other bras before, this one would hold everything better than others. That’s a deal-breaker!
As I used this bra for a few weeks, I noticed, it stretches a bit. That shouldn’t be much of an issue as you can adjust the velcro and get the right fit. Whether you are a petite or big woman, this bra will work just fine.
It’s completely machine washable and that could save precious time for breastfeeding and pumping. There’s even an extra strap for more support.
Based on some user reviews, I can say it can sometimes come with a little smell. But if you wash it and leave it for a few days in the air, the smell will disappear. In terms of adjustability, this is a real winner!
5.Lupantte Hands-Free Pumping Bra
Lupantte was one of my most favorite pumping bras for some time. The material is most cotton and putting it on and off is just effortless because of the front zipper and back velcro.
This bra has an X structure opening. If you haven’t used a bra with a X structure, you won’t know how good it fits the flanges, especially those from Spectra pump. It’s also compatible with Philips Avent, Ameda and others great pumps!
You can use this bra for pumping and as well as nursing. Unzip and wear it. If you feel you need more adjustment, the Veclros will save you the hassle.
You can wear it all day. But the reason I limited using this bra was because the padding isn’t too much. I like to wear my pumping bra at home and work, so I needed more support. For big breasted moms, this won’t be the perfect choice. However, it’s the best hand free pumping bra for spectra or any other pump. The flanges are held super tight and keeps the bottles in place whether you work or move around the home!
6.The Dairy Fairy Rose Handsfree Pumping Bra
The Dairy Fairy, the name sells itself. The bra looks amazingly cute, feminine and the one you simply can’t resist. Whether you love to wear the strap wide, narrow or crossed, you get them all.
I really loved the delicate lace details on this bra. It doesn’t have any zippers, velcros or hooks. That’s the reason, you can wear it all day long. It’s a deal-breaker for many moms like me!
One of the coolest things is the bra is very stretchy and you can place breast pads underneath to avoid leaks at night. You can even place cold packs if your breasts are in pain.
Despite being lightweight and soft, it can hold the flanges snugly. The spectra flanges will be a bit tight but usable. For other pumps like Medela or Ameda, the fit is just right.
One of the very few issues with this bra is it doesn’t cover your nipples perfectly. Unless you are wearing a thicker dress, it’s not suitable to use at work. Otherwise, for home use, there couldn’t be any better bra.
7.PumpEase Hands-Free Pumping Bra
The Hook & Eye design pump from PumpEase is easier to close and a lot safer for your clothing. This bra will fit moms from 32AA to 48H. There are lots of cute and feminine pattern options that can still the heart of any mom!
The material has 90% cotton and 10% spandex. This combination makes the bra stretchy but retains its shape no matter how much you wash it. The non-stitch flange openings will support spectra flanges and almost any regular pump from the market.
When you double pump, you might need to support your breasts a little. But it pays off big time, as the bra ensures good suction that enables more milk to be pumped. No slipping issues!
Overall, PumpEase supports both small and big breasts. It’s comfortable to wear and dries comparatively quicker than the brands we have reviewed here. If you don’t love zippers and velcro at all, this might be the one you were looking for.
I hope this list is conclusive enough to find the best pumping bra for spectra. I tried to include bra designs that could support small breasts and large breasts as well. Just remember not all bras are made for large breasts and you will have to closely look at reviews to find it. Some of them you can wear all day long and some of them are just for the purpose of pumping/nursing.
